We offer that Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring a Virtualisation Specialist. emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors. A snapshot of your key responsibilities: Responsible for keeping key applications running in a Windows, Linux, and Oracle based environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Monitoring, operating and supporting applications in Linux, Windows and Oracle server environment, troubleshooting issues to maintain operational continuity, Communicating and collaborating closely with the broader ICT team and operational business colleagues as necessary. Contributing to system upgrades, patches and security improvements, ensuring compliance with organisational and industry standards. Requirements: 6+ years experience working as a Virtualisation Specialist, with strong expertise in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM). A level 7 or higher qualification in a computer science related discipline. Experience in design, administration and operation of large scale Oracle infrastructures. Experience implementing security, backup and performance tuning on large-scale Oracle datasets on multiple environments. Experience deploying and supporting applications across Windows, Linux, and Oracle based environments. Experience working with technical and operational resources to ensure applications are available and secure, in an environment undergoing regular change and development. Fluency in English; non-native speakers must provide proof of C2-level proficiency or demonstrate fluent English skills.
