**European FP&A Team Lead** Lead the European FP&A team in developing financial forecasts and plans for the European expansion of TD Securities' Finance team. **Job Description** The European FP&A team within the Wholesale Banking Finance group of TD Bank is responsible for the multi-year plan, regional management, finance reporting, and ad-hoc support to senior management for the European entities. The team lead will be responsible for the delivery of the multi-year plan under the European expansion and leading the transition into BAU deliverables once the strategy has been implemented. **Key Responsibilities** * Be a key contributor on the European Expansion Project, including the credit application, with key focus on the Financial Projections. * Compile and submit project status reports to management and other stakeholders. * Work effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation. * Challenge business assumptions to ensure the business strategy is cohesive and reflected within the financial projections. * Work closely with the stress team to facilitate and support their stress testing scenarios. * Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting such as Board materials and strategy presentations. * Lead the production of the Monthly Operating Results for senior management. * Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting process for TD Global Finance (Irish legal entity), including liaising with internal TDS Finance stakeholders as well as the wider European entities planning and forecast processes. * Develop and maintain good relationships with key business/finance partners and other stakeholders and effectively communicate relevant/meaningful recommendations to senior management. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment that requires meticulous attention to detail. * Support wider team deliverables, including financial reporting where required. **Requirements** * Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple deliverables appropriately. * Financial Services experience, preferably within Investment/Corporate Banking. * Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and analytical thinking. * High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power Point. * Understanding of the Bank's management and financial reporting processes; proficiency with Hyperion is preferred. * Bachelor's Degree at 2.1 or above. * Accounting or industry-specific qualification (i.e., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent). * Preferably 7+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit. * Prior project-based experience working in a European Banking environment is desirable. **TD Policy Requirements** * Demonstrate awareness and adherence to internal TD Policies that relate to you, your business, or other businesses for which you have any level of responsibility. * Read, understand, and comply with TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics (Code) and corresponding regulations. * Act with integrity and due skill, care, and diligence in carrying out your duties. * Your actions should always be able to satisfy high standards of scrutiny. * Management should be kept fully informed at all times of all Regulatory and Compliance issues. * If you are a Manager/Supervisor, you are also responsible for ongoing and effective supervision of the employees under your direction and ensure their adherence to regulatory requirements. **About TD** TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
