Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY Vice President of Franchise Development is responsible for creating the strategy and managing the franchise development sales process to accelerate growth in new qualified franchisees entering the system, expanding existing franchise territories and overseeing the transfer and renewal process for five brands (MaidPro, Miracle Method, USA Insulation, Pestmaster, Sir Grout, Granite Garage Floors, Paramedics Brands and Mold Medics) totaling more than 700 existing territories in North America and Canada. As the sales team leader, you will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and managing a team of Franchise Development Managers, while driving strategic unit growth across all 10 brands. You will be responsible for creating the strategy for lead generation, territory approvals and closing sales. This role has a critical impact on overall company revenue and profitability as well as being a key driver in our continued development. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Drives team performance; conducts team meetings, weekly 1:1 meetings, pipeline reviews, call scores, annual performance review with each direct report; provides individual performance feedback and coaching. Manages and coaches the Franchise Development Managers to ensure all the commitment aspects of the franchisees from the initial stages of the sales process through to the signing of the franchise agreement. Proactively identifies demographic information and mapping that will allow for easy identification and evaluation of appropriate territories for the development of new locations. Uses a metrics driven sales management approach to manage the performance of the franchise sales team. Coordinates with CEO/CFO on planning, budgeting and strategy efforts to meet Franchise Development initiatives. Partners with CRO on overall sales goals, broker relationships, and franchisee development marketing execution. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields. A demonstrated track record of managing a successful franchise sales department with a minimum of 7+ years proven experience. Must have previous experience with conversion franchising. Previous experience of franchise law and standard FDD reporting requirements. Strong general business, financial acumen, and management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to garner trust and build strong relationships. Ability to travel 25%.
