About the Role Reporting to the CEO in CitySwift, we are looking for an experienced leader for our People function, playing a pivotal role in the implementation and delivery of our company strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of the People Strategy and the core areas of the People Department including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Reward & Recognition as well as maintaining and improving our current HR processes and systems. The VP of People will be an integral contributor to the Senior Leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the people and business strategy in CitySwift and make a positive impact in a high growth Irish company. What you’ll do: Oversee, execute and own all activities within the People department. Leading and executing within the various People functions of Talent Acquisition, Employment Engagement, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Reward & Recognition. Oversee the talent acquisition process, ensuring that the company attracts, retains and develops top talent and delivers on our sustainable growth strategy.  Own and promote our company values and mission, ensuring that they are clearly communicated and understood at all levels of the company.  Manage the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to performance management and identify key moments in this journey to ensure that employees have a positive experience at each stage.  Be a key member of the Leadership Team and work alongside operational teams while driving performance across the company.  Foster positive employment relations across the company and maintain a positive culture and healthy work environment for all.  Collaborate with the Management team on developing and implementing people strategies to deliver tangible business impact. Oversee the compensation and benefit strategies in the company and ensure that they reflect industry best practices that are designed to attract and retain talent.   Prepare and present People and Business updates to the Leadership team and Board of Directors where required.  Develop our people managers and leaders to drive positive outcomes for the business and their teams. Build a performance and reward framework aligned to the business growth strategy and is reflective of our dynamic business environment. Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and changes in employment law. The ideal candidate will have: BA/Masters in HR Management or related discipline.  10 years of experience working within a Senior HR position, preferably 3-5 years experience at a Director level. CIPD accreditation is desirable.  Excellent communication skills, both in terms of written and verbal skills and ability to influence, empathise and negotiate at all levels.  Ability to roll up sleeves and deliver projects that result in tangible business impact, using your own initiative while working in a fast paced and changing environment. A track record in smaller growth organisations of building an inclusive and diverse culture aligned to Company vision, mission and values. Team player with proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop management and team members.
