Job Description
A highly experienced Warehouse Manager is required to oversee the efficient operation of a medium-sized warehouse in North Dublin. The successful candidate will have strong warehouse management skills, a background in WMS systems, and excellent communication abilities.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure optimal efficiency
- Manage and mentor warehouse staff to maintain a productive work environment
- Implement and utilize WMS systems to streamline operations
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock control
- Monitor and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
- Set performance targets and report on key metrics
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role
- Strong IT skills, particularly experience with WMS systems
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Demonstrable experience in managing and motivating teams
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment
- Experience in inventory management and stock control
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements
- A results-driven approach with a focus on meeting key operational targets
This is a permanent role with a competitive salary of €50,000.00-€55,000.00 per year.
