Warehouse Operations and Systems Manager o Distribution o Experienced s 60000 - 70000 q Cork p Full-time r Benefits PackageLocation:North Cork (Fully Onsite)About Us:We are a partnering with a leading importer and wholesaler of healthcare products based in North Cork.Role Description:We are hiring a highly skilledWarehouse Operations and Systems Managerto join their team in Cork. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Warehouse Operations and Systems Manager will play a senior and strategic role in the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse functions, including supervisory and operations management, managing a team of 15-20 members, and inventory control.The role involves reviewing all systems and processes for future growth, developing strategic initiatives across distribution and storage, and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. A key responsibility will be leading the implementation of our warehouse automation and optimisation strategy, likely encompassing Auto Store or a similar system in the near future.This project represents one of the largest capital expenditures the business has undertaken and requires exceptional project management and technology skills.ResponsibilitiesImplement new warehouse storage automationacross physical and digital mediums.Lead technology advancements and WMS opportunities within the warehouse.Report to the CEO on warehouse performance and operations weekly.Lead a warehouse team of 15-20 individuals in delivering business objectives.Ensure the smooth running of existing warehouse processes.Conduct operational reviews and manage warehouse KPIs.Support the business in contract and engagement negotiations.Oversee distribution and logistics, monitoring daily goods movement.RequirementsProven supervisory skills and experience in a warehouse environment.Strong project management skills, particularly in large capital projects.Experience in strategic planning and inventory control.Proficiency in ERP and cross-digital integration.Previous experience with Lean methodology andLEAN SIGMA.In-depth knowledge ofwarehouse management, safety, and complianceregulations.Strong customer service skills, with experience working with diverse clients.Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with team members, management, and customers.Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.Proficient with computer systems and software used for inventory control and warehouse management.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations management.Experience inautomation deploymentis a distinct advantage.Excellent people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong technical and PC skills to manage inventory control systems, logistics software, and other warehouse-related applications.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and suppliers.Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.If the above sounds like you apply today or contact james@accpro.ie to find out more! #J-18808-Ljbffr
