Job Description
Warehouse Operative role involves picking, wrapping, shipping, and delivering store products in line with store, production, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and complete sales orders, wrap deliveries, and complete warehouse paperwork.
- Operate electric pallet trucks and forklifts to complete orders.
- Unload, record, and put away raw materials stocks and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and safe working warehouse environment.
- Communicate and cooperate with fellow staff members.
- Comply with company rules and standards of work.
- Process orders through the system for next-day deliveries.
- Assist with tinting of paint and maintain paint supplies.
- Verify orders against invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain live stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required.
- Input dockets, goods in and out, through the system.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are met at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for stock security.
- Ensure timely supply of key materials to Paint Plant and Paint filling areas.
- Manage deliveries, tankers, and yard storage.
- Dispose of obsolete, defective, and returned materials.
- Maintain waste management systems and outside storage facilities.
- Implement 5S (Housekeeping) practices.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Electric pallet truck and forklift truck experience.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Experience in tinting processes.
- Knowledge of paint tinting processes.
- Familiarity with all equipment on site.
- Fully flexible with working hours.
