Job Title: Warehouse Operative.

Operating Shifts: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Reporting to: Warehouse Team Lead.

Location: M1 Business Park, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.

Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to support the careful handling and movement of goods in a safe, secure, and accurate manner while observing good driving practice and conforming to defined processes, procedures, and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others in the work environment by adhering to safe working practices.
  • Mitigate risks before commencing tasks by removing loose debris and rubbish.
  • Precheck vehicles before shifts and communicate any defects as directed.
  • Conform to H&S training for physical movement of items.
  • Complete risk assessments for each load before loading/offloading.
  • Support colleagues in the completion of all duties.
  • Report on load deviations including damages, shortages, and overages.
  • Complete work activities including order selection, packing, loading, unloading, scanning, and paperwork efficiently and safely.
  • Report any persons not conforming to H&S requirements.
  • Complete and adhere to all training as directed.
  • Follow all Policies and Procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience driving forklifts and operating within a busy warehouse.
  • Excellent references.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Current Forklift licence for Counterbalance and/or Narrow Aisle Master (Bendi) Truck.
  • GDP trained.
  • HaaCP trained.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience driving forklifts.
