Warehouse Operative
Location: Kells Business Park, Kells, Co. Meath
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (following successful completion of probationary period)
Job Overview:
Due to the continued growth Virginia International Logistics Properties is looking to fill two roles of warehouse worker. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for receiving & dispatching tasks to assure that the highest possible service is provided to our customers.
Duties:
- Various stock, goods in/goods out related activities.
- Effective liaison with colleagues to enable completion of tasks and the distribution of relevant information.
- Participate in performing cycle counts of all stock to ensure accuracy.
- Sorting materials for combo/shrink pack orders and running them through a shrink-wrap machine.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues such as quality, missing items, or damage to goods to the Inventory & Quality Controller.
- Storing away all cleared pallets received on a daily basis.
- Preparing and loading customer pallets for outward delivery.
- Ensuring pallets are completed and secure for transport.
- Customer pick and pack/order fulfilment.
- Manual offload of containers and palletizing goods.

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Be conscientious and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and willingness to take responsibility.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to read and comprehend pick lists, purchase orders, receiving slips, route slips, and instructions.
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse industry.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (training will be provided).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €12.70-€13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
