Warehouse Supervisor - Sligo
Leading a Warehouse Team in a Regulated Environment
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with global and local policies, regulations, and procedures. You will manage inventory, implement effective storeroom practices, and collaborate with various departments to maintain a high standard of filing, documentation, and safety.
- Manage inventory through ERP systems, including issuing, receiving, and customer-owned inventory.
- Implement effective storeroom practices such as cycle counting, stock checks, and material planning.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance for smooth stores-related operations.
- Supervise and lead the storeroom team, providing training and guidance.
- Present stores metrics to both customers and management, highlighting performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with company and statutory Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in a Warehouse environment, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Experience in managing people and previous training or use of Manual handling equipment.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
