The company is Ireland's leading distributor of Pharma products to the Irish Pharmacy and Hospital networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 5 engineers.
- Develop expertise in fundamental processes within the integrated warehouse management system and automated picking systems.
- Develop expertise on how this system is integrated with a state-of-the-art ERP system, as well as the ASRS and Miniload systems.
- Support operations' daily sustaining activities; ensure that the warehouse management system performs to and exceeds established targets.
- Support business in all testing activities on the test warehouse management system.
- Work as part of a dynamic and multi-discipline team to deliver a robust testing solution.
- Understand, analyse, and eliminate reoccurring faults or bugs on the warehouse management system.
- Liaise with facilities team on reoccurring mechanical or electrical issues on the automated crane and conveyor system.
- Conduct system auditing and maintenance.
- Identify potential improvements to the warehouse management system and associated processes.
- Perform business and operational analysis (Capacity, efficiency, performance, etc).
Requirements
- Minimum Honors Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 4 years prior process engineering experience, preferably in facilities, warehouse management, or utilities.
- Team lead/supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience in the Pharma/FMCG sectors is an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma qualification is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems is desired.
