Job Description

Waste Operator Location: Ringaskiddy, Co Cork Duration: Permanent Work Schedule: On Site, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm Overview of the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for Operational implementation of the Total Waste Management contract and associated activities at our clients site, responsible for Warehouse, non-hazardous and hazardous waste management. Day to Day of the Role: Carry out routine and schedule waste management activities on site to ensure continuous support for medical device manufacturing: checking designated waste collection points, prepare packages for storage and shipment Working in a team with operatives and supervisor on client's site to provide waste management services as per client's outlined requirements Movement, packing or compacting of hazardous and non hazardous waste items to on site satellite locations Monitor and provide help to the site supervisor in managing waste movements on site Help in loading/offloading trailers and ensure all relevant paperwork is in place Management and housekeeping of waste compound and waste equipment (compactors, skips, packaging, lifting equipment) Support to implement improvement projects Monitor consumables stock levels and make orders as required. Comply with Health & Safety, Quality, Dangerous Goods and other relevant regulations Required Skills for the Role: Forklift Licence, Manual Handling Understanding of waste management or/and warehouse management requirements Strong communication skills Knowledge of IT software (email, Google drive and documents) Chemical and Dangerous Goods Awareness is a benefit Flexibility, Punctuality, H&S Compliance Team player.
