Job Description
Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician required to operate and maintain a wastewater treatment plant at a leading biopharmaceutical plant in Mulhuddart, Co Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, conducting daily environmental inspections, and performing laboratory analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting daily environmental inspections and sampling
- Operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment plant
- Performing laboratory analysis and troubleshooting
- Liaising with site maintenance team and third-party vendors
- Issuing and approving work permits
- Compiling and issuing weekly reports
Required skills and qualifications:
- Level 5 FETAC or above in Water or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations or a Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering
- At least 2 years' experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring and analysis, computerized maintenance management systems, and environmental legislation
