Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
EPS requires a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to work on a term contract in the West Cork region.
The role requires a good understanding of the Wastewater Treatment process and involves routine operational duties and regular maintenance tasks.
- Process monitoring and completing record sheets and taking process samples
- Manual work will be required from time to time
- General housekeeping activities such as cleaning and washing plant and areas down and grounds maintenance
The role requires work outside in all weather conditions and flexibility with hours of work is vital, including weekend work and bank holiday work.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required, as well as strong collaborative skills with an ability to work effectively on your own or in a team environment.
- Good ability to read English and good inter-personal skills and communication skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use spreadsheets and other basic computer programs necessary
Experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants is required, although similar process experience will be considered.
A full clean driving licence is obligatory and the person will live in the locality, be able to ensure timely access to the site within the responsibility of the role.
