Job Description
Experienced Web Application Back-End Developer sought to enhance and support Integrated Developer Platform (IDP) in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Groovy scripts in Jira and Confluence.
- Design, develop, and implement new automation solutions based on customer requirements.
- Identify and drive improvements to the current automation framework.
- Oversee and manage deployment of changes to production environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Java or Groovy.
- 3-5 years of experience in front-end web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and XML.
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and REST API principles.
- Strong SQL skills for database management, querying, and optimization tasks.
- Familiarity with concepts related to multithreaded applications, synchronous/asynchronous connections, performance code optimization, and design patterns.
Desirable Skills:
- Jira/Confluence/Bit Bucket Experience: Practical experience in using and automating processes within Jira, Confluence, and Bit Bucket, particularly with Groovy scripting.
