Job Purpose Our client is seeking to recruit a skilled Web Developer & SEO Specialist to join their dynamic marketing team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to their growing business while expanding their B2B marketing skills. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Digital Growth and collaborate with content and data experts to enhance SEO performance. This full-time, office-based position Key Responsibilities Lead technical SEO initiatives, including site audits, schema markup, core web vitals, and website performance improvements. Enhance user experience (UX) across our main websites. Collaborate with the SEO Content Specialist and Copywriter to optimise client websites in line with content strategies. Work closely with the Web and Analytics Specialist to analyse data and refine SEO tactics. Assist with new business development by upselling technical strategies to existing clients. Advise and train internal teams on SEO best practices. Conduct website audits and support on-page SEO efforts with the wider team. Perform keyword research and monitor website user engagement. Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry updates. Communicate effectively with the UK-based web development team regarding technical issues. Essential Criteria Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. 4+ years of Web Development experience. 8+ years of experience in a dedicated SEO-focused role. 8+ years of coding experience, with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs. Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Magento. Expertise in SEO best practices and a track record of improving website performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A self-starter who can work both independently and within a team.
