Job Description
A Welder / Fabricator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mayo based Manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling various metal structures and components according to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards. THE ROLE: Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals. Fabricate metal components and structures according to specifications, including cutting, bending, and shaping materials. Assemble parts and subassemblies to create finished products. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine the exact specifications for each job. Verify dimensions and align parts accurately before welding or assembly. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure they meet the quality and safety standards. Repair any faulty welds or fabrications as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Technical certification or welding apprenticeship preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in welding and fabrication. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Strong understanding of metal properties, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
