Job Summary: Amazon Ireland Support Services Limited is seeking a Safety Specialist to monitor site performance, set up workplace health and safety programmes, and analyse safety metrics to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
As a Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in keeping our people safe and well at work. You will be responsible for monitoring site performance against set KPIs, creating plans to improve processes, and setting up workplace health and safety programmes. You will also analyse safety metrics and incident trends to help colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk.

- Carry out audits to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where necessary
A Day in the Life:
You will be based on location at one of our sites, where you will work closely with people across the business to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement. You will gather data to identify smarter and safer ways to work, and set up training and other programmes to help everyone follow new safety processes and reach new standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education to a degree level
NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ5 Level or Equivalent qualification
Understanding of Irish Environment, health and safety legislation
Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
Strong stakeholder management capabilities
