Contract Development Position Short description: Skilled Website Developer needed for 6-month contract to support development and launch of new website. We are seeking a skilled Website Developer for a 6-month contract to support the development and launch of a new website. This role demands significant expertise in PHP, Word Press, and SQL to build and customize a dynamic website using an existing Word Press theme. The ideal candidate should also have experience with API integration on websites. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and customize Word Press themes and plugins * 5+ years of experience in website development, with a strong focus on PHP and Word Press * Integrate and customize third-party plugins * Strong skills in PHP, HTML/CSS, Java Script (and frameworks), and JSON * Proven experience in implementing third-party APIs on websites * Implement robust data security practices * Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database management * Work independently within a small, collaborative team * Build and maintain strong relationships with business users The ideal candidate should be a motivated developer who thrives in a flexible, dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a major web development project. The contract role offers flexibility, requiring in-office presence just 2-3 days per month.
