Job Description

**Job Summary:** Responsible for developing and implementing efficient production processes in high-volume moulding environments, ensuring quality standards are met and improved continuously. Assists in the development and implementation of production processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing assembly/moulding processes. Monitors the assembly/moulding process, troubleshooting problem processes and assists in resolving quality issues. **Key Responsibilities:** • Introduces new tools, conducts tool trials at tool makers and in-house, sets up tools, performs qualification runs, and hands over to production. • Assists with the design and debugging of new systems, tooling, and automation. • Completes IQ, OQ, PQ validation reports. • Performs designed experiments to enhance processes, improve yields, and reduce cycle time and setup. • Liaises with customers, suppliers, and toolmakers as required. • Responsible for the Moulding Process Systems, including setting sheets, process control, deviation, and control of setting sheets, ECNs, and A3s. • Troubleshoots and supports operations team as required. • Liaises with Toolroom, Maintenance, Operations, and Quality on a daily basis. • Develops and implements maintenance programs for moulding and ancillary equipment. • Supports all company quality programs and initiatives. • Ensures timeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements. • Adheres to principles of data integrity. • Performs all activities in strict accordance with the Quality Management System. • Trains Team Leaders to ensure they can manage day-to-day issues. • Continuously seeks to improve work processes and has a quality-first mentality. • Supports company Lean Manufacturing principles. • Takes personal accountability for safety and supports culture of safety management. **Job Specifications:** • Degree or equivalent qualification in Polymer or Mechanical engineering. • 3-5 years' experience in high-volume moulding environments. • Experience in cleanroom procedures and medical moulding. • Familiar with process setup and validation, including performing process window studies, IQ, OQ, PQ. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills. • Systematic troubleshooting skills. • Strong leadership of technical issue resolution. • Lean Six Sigma skills an advantage. • Proficient in MS Office applications and MS Project.
