Workday Financials Integrations Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain custom integrations between Workday Financials and other internal/external systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products.
  • Take full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code.
  • Consistently create optimal design adhering to architectural best practices, considering scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts affected.
  • Perform analysis on failures, propose design changes, and encourage operational improvements.
  • Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront.
  • Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards.
  • Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures.
  • Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five to six years of relevant experience.
  • Good English level both Verbal and Written.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Workday Financials Integrations Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Web Services, and Workday Cloud Connect.
  • Experience with data integration techniques such as APIs (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, and other middleware platforms.
  • Extensive Workday Financials experience, prior implementation experience is a plus.
  • Workday Extend, Accounting Center & Prism experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PL/SQL, Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline and Git Hub is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Visio.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Demonstrating knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban.
  • Understanding of Agile tools such as JIRA and Zephyr.
  • Comfortable engaging with 3rd parties such as upstream or downstream application teams, business line SME's, cross-functional workstreams, etc.
