A global materials science company is seeking a Workforce Support Manager to provide HR consulting support to employees and leaders in Asia Pacific.

Job Description

The Workforce Support Manager will be a key member of the Asia Pacific Workforce Support Team, providing day-to-day HR consulting support to employees and leaders. The role will involve handling employee relation issues, providing consultancy on HR policies and procedures, and supporting employee engagement and satisfaction for the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide positive employee relations and manager capability support across multiple sites.
  • Recommend strategies and initiatives to support employee morale and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other workforce support tiers to resolve employee inquiries and issues in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Support employees and managers on HR activities such as promotions, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with local government and labor unions.
  • Manage employee wellbeing related special cases.
  • Support key projects focused on new process or capability development/enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a proven track record in Employee Relations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and develop positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to use digital case management and workflow management tools.
  • Ability to approach issues with an objective mindset and reach win/win solutions.
  • Ability to compile, research, and analyze information and data.
