Key Responsibilities:
* Develop creative software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting.
* Develop secure high-quality production code and review/debug code written by others.
* Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate recurring issues.
* Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams.
* Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Formal training or certification in system design concepts.
* Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
* Proficiency in programming languages, automation and continuous delivery methods.
* Advanced understanding of agile methodologies.
* In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
* Practical cloud native experience.
