Join our Engineering team as a skilled Mechanic/Fitter in Ballymount, County Dublin. Competitive salary, benefits, and career development opportunities await.
We're looking for candidates with experience in forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGVs, or similar machinery. You'll adhere to health and safety guidelines, service and maintain materials handling equipment, and provide excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and workshop rules.
- Servicing and maintaining diesel, LPG, and electrical materials handling equipment.
- Fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance and pre-delivery inspection of forklift trucks.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly working area, including common areas.
- Completing job cards and ordering required parts.
- Providing a professional and friendly customer service experience.
You'll need a relevant technical qualification, previous experience in a similar role, and a good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles. You'll also need to work independently and under pressure.
