Job Description

EPS Group are recruiting for an experienced professional with a background in servicing and overhauling some of the following equipment which is used in the water and wastewater industry; pumps, motors, gearboxes. Those with a background in fitting, fabrication or mechanical repairs would be suited to this role. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair of pumps, motors and gearboxes. Complete reconditioning and installing new parts, reassembly, and testing. Complete inspection reports on IT system, listing required parts from manufacturers drawings and parts lists. Clean and prepare parts for reassembly, incorporating OEM parts to complete overhaul of unit to be repaired. Once overhaul has been completed, prepare and test unit. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment Provide a high-level of communication with the Workshop Supervisor and wider Service & Repair team. Must demonstrate good organisational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work in a team. Desirable attributes: Experience in a mechanical field working in any of the following industries: mechanics, fabrication/welding, agricultural machinery repair, water/wastewater, plant & machinery fitting. Experience in the servicing of pumps including dosing, centrifugal, multistage, and progressive cavity pumps. Experience in repair and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics of complex pumping systems Requirements: Working knowledge of motors, pumps, and gearboxes Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative. Possess good organisational and interpersonal skills. Full Clean Irish Driving Licence Skills/Qualifications Minimum of an associate mechanical trade/diploma certificate or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
