Job Title: Depot Technician/Trade Counter Assistant Responsible To: Centre Manager *Full Driving License Required* KeyFunctions& Responsibilities Trade Counter Be thefirstpointofcontact forcustomersvisitingthe Centre Provide a qualityserviceto customerswith promptandcourteousservice Alwaysbe well presented and useappropriatePersonal Protective Equipment asrequired Provide the requiredservice to customersbeit; sale ofoff-the-shelfproducts replacement hydraulic hose assemblies using correct hose assembly procedure assemble hydraulichosestocustomer requirements Use IT systems to record and process jobs at all times Actively promote organisational products and services to Centre customers Stock Control Distribute stock to the Mobile Technicians Order replacement stock Maintain stock levels & make adjustments/write-offs Ensureanystockproblemsare reportedtothe CentreManager immediately Depot Depot Housekeeping and Maintenance Whenrequired,use acompanyvehicle to deliverproducts Attend Centremeetingsas and when required Attend training courses as requested by management Thedayto dayoperationofthedepot ensuring: itiskeptcleanand presentable at all times well stockedand merchandised Other Toprovide assistancetoCentre staffwithin thefranchise when requested Any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the business Desirable Criteria The successful candidate will have a keen eye for attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised and work off their own initiative. Be proactive and can problem solve. Have proven literacy and numeracy skills and be approachable and adaptable. The successful candidate will be computer literate and familiar with the use of Microsoft Office , Excel, Word & Outlook , note we will provide additional training on our job/stock management system. Previous experience in making hydraulic hoses would be considered an advantage Hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
