Yard Operations Supervisor Job In Dublin

Seeking a Yard Operations Supervisor to oversee the efficient processing of Construction & Demolition waste in a Dublin-based recycling facility.

Design Build Search is working with a sustainability-focused recycling service company committed to reducing waste and innovating recycling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement best practices to maximize production efficiency and material recovery in the C&D processing plant.
• Develop and manage work schedules for yard operatives, ensuring operational needs and leave requirements are met.
• Ensure all team members are fully trained and work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Health & Safety department to ensure training records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
• Oversee the handling, separation, and delivery of waste materials to appropriate outlets in an efficient manner.
• Collaborate with internal and external haulers to manage on-site stock levels and maintain them.
• Oversee the execution and continuous updating of the maintenance program for all production and mobile plant equipment on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in line management or supervisory roles, with responsibility for team oversight.
• Experience in a waste management facility is preferred but not essential.
• Licenses and experience in operating mobile plant equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate staff.
