Job Title: Youth and Community Engagement Worker
Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, seeks a Youth and Community Engagement Worker to support the implementation of youth voice and engagement initiatives in local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of youth voice and engagement strategies
- Facilitate the engagement and participation of youth advocates in Jigsaw
- Deliver mental health promotion activities for young people, parents/guardians, and community groups
- Represent Jigsaw at local community meetings and events
- Develop and implement initiatives to build the capacity of communities to support and promote youth mental health
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in youth/community work, health promotion, or a relevant education or social sector discipline
- Minimum of two years' experience in developing and implementing programmes relevant to working with young people
- Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
- Full, clean driving license and access to a car
