Representing a leading Irish based whiskey manufacturer with specialization in outsourcing manufacturing services to leading international brands. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction, our client is established as a trusted partner within the Irish and International beverage industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join a dynamic fast growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving national and international sales, fostering new business development opportunities, while maintaining strong client relationships. This position requires frequent client-facing interactions, strategic planning, and a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on market trends. Key Responsibilities: * Lead national and international sales efforts to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals. * Conduct frequent client visits to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. * Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. * Leverage experience in selling spirits wholesale to identify opportunities for growth in the beverage industry. * Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that meet client requirements. * Cultivate relationships with distilleries and other industry stakeholders to drive business development initiatives. * Demonstrate strong financial acumen in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements. * Employ persuasive selling techniques, problem-solving skills, and strategic planning to overcome challenges and achieve objectives. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making. Preferred experience range: * Proven track record in selling outsourced manufacturing services, preferably within the food and drinks industry. * Demonstrated success in international sales and client-facing roles. * Consideration will be given to candidates from a Retail drinks buyer background who have a deep understanding of consumer preferences and market dynamics. * Experience selling spirits wholesale, with a strong network of industry contacts will also be considered. * Familiarity with contract manufacturing sales processes and best practices. * Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. * Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. * Positive attitude, resilience, and tenacity in pursuing business opportunities. * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficiency in financial analysis and written/verbal communication
